I am a Canadian, native speaker of English with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics and a Post-grad Certificate of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language to Adults. I have six years of experience assisting students achieve success and reach their language goals.
I love to teach because it allows me to meet people from all over the world and learn about their cultures. I have experience working with Japanese students, professionals, retired people and housewives. I hope to visit Japan some time very soon! I deeply respect Japanese traditions and history.
I teach all English skill sets and I have a particular talent for pronunciation/accent reduction. When you and I meet, we will discuss your objectives. I will then design a plan of study to accommodate your needs.
Learning together will always be enjoyable and interesting! I bring a positive, enthusiastic energy to our class that ensures we have fun while improving your English.
I'm looking forward to studying with you!
