Hello!

My name is Charmaine Abrahams and I am from Dublin, Ireland. I have been teaching General and Business English as a second language to adults for over 3 years which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. By joining Mainichi Eikaiwa I will get a chance to meet people from Japan which I’m really excited about because I am very fascinated about Japanese culture.

A little bit more about me is that I am an upbeat, positive person with lots of energy. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life as it’s such a wonderful and educational experience. I have also met people from many parts of the world through travel.

Further hobbies of mine include watching crime documentaries. I also love to keep fit so I work out very often.  I love to cook and always try to experiment with different dishes. I also enjoy creative writing, writing personal diary entries, and sharing Life Empowering quotes via Social Media.

I would also like to add that I feel it is of paramount importance when it comes to ESL Teaching to create a fun and nurturing learning environment where students are motivated to learn and driven by their own successes and accomplishments while having fun in the process.

My name is Amanda, I am a native English teacher based in Trieste, Italy. I was born and raised in South Africa and have spent the last 15 years travelling and living in Europe. I have been teaching English as a second language to students of all ages and levels for 12 years and I love it!
